We had the honor of photographing Audrey's First Year. I happened to be going through them tonight choosing our favorites. She surely will appreciate these images through out her lifetime. This is Audrey forever at 9 months. Just one of many favorites from that session. It wasn't long after this image she learned the joy of mobility and discovery and our sessions became a bit more interesting. I am thinking of a custom design coffee table album personalized with her name and birth date, the ultimate first year keepsake. I will show more later.

I want to share an image we created last weekend. This is little project we have been working on for a few weeks. All our grandchildren in one image. This has not been the easiest of projects. Work schedules and bouts with the flu have kept our grandchildren from appearing at our studio together at the same time for the Heick Grandchildren official group portrait. They arrived in well planed shifts by some very organized mommies. We worked on individual portraits one by one as they arrived and got settled in. I am not going to lie and tell you I was not sweating it. When it came to the group portrait we just dived right in and got to work.
All the grown ups worked together to get the kids to look at the camera at the same time. It sounded like a wild party going on. I didn't know how many frames we got but jut knew I had something. So here it is.
This has become such an important image for all of us. It will be one of the family treasures we will cherish for generations to come.

Yesterday was a great day. Izzy came in for a photo shoot. She is just growing
so fast. She was mumbling a few new words for us. This is a wonderful sound that must be what angels sound like. She is standing, which is just wonderful. We expect she will be walking soon. Izzy will be one in May. This year has just flown by, luckily we plan her sessions every few months. Our goal yesterday, was her spring portrait. I think it is beautiful.
